Welcome!

This is the comprehensive documentation for JChain SA Minimal Edition

About this edition of JChain

JChain is a toolkit for the copy protection of Java applications. Unlike the Web edition, SA edition doesn't require setting up a server. The minimal edition is designed to provide the "minimal" functions for the copy protection and license management of single Java application, whereas the Enterprise is intended to support the management of multiple products with a customer database and a one-stop management panel.

Benefits of using JChain

We believe JChain is technically the most promissing candidate for the de-facto standard of software copy protection, especially for the Java applications. Because JChain provides a unique set of benefits which other copy protection schemes are hard to provide:
  • cross-platform copy protection which is as strong as hardware keys (or "dongles")
  • cross-platform and flexible license management
  • no special hardware requirements
Why only JChain? Because the computer identification, based on changing file systems, requires our patent-pending technology named "adaptive key" (please visit www.chainkey.com for details).

We hope and expect many Java vendors will take the advantages of JChain, and enjoy software developments without worrying about piracy and potential great in sales.

Good luck with your products, and thank you for using JChain!
